Ridiculously Cute Kids’ Events for Halloween

Ridiculously Cute Kids’ Events for Halloween

As if you need to do much more than dress the kids up and walk around the neighborhood (or One Colorado) scoring heap loads of candy, but there are some irresistible events in the works this Halloween.

Haunted Arroyo at Kidspace, October 21

An illuminating experience for little boys and ghouls! “Light yourself up with glow in the dark paint and make a spooky potion. Create glowing lanterns and join the Monster Mash dance party.” Are you kidding me? That sounds awesome, Mom and Dad! Sign you up! (Note that Haunted Arroyo is an after-hours special event, not part of general admission.

Our Pal Buster Balloon is spooking it up! We love and marvel at Buster. He’s a pop sensation!

Buster Balloon’s Halloween SPOOK’tacular!”, October 23 @ 3:30 p

Bob Lucas Memorial Library 2659 Lincoln Ave. Altadena (626) 798-0833

Descanso Gardens Tells Tall (and not as tall) Tales this Halloween:

Shakespeare actors will regale semi-spooky, family friend tales that will chill and delight all ages. Costumes encouraged! Hooray!

“Bring your little owlets two and older for an enchanting nature-themed story time at Nature’s Table!” Could not have written that any better. “Owlets” – come on!

Who says libraries are for stuff shirts (and quiet people)? Pasadena’s got zombies and slime! These events are no-brainers:

Tuesday, October 30, 2018 @ 4:00 p

Santa Catalina Branch, 999 East Washington Blvd.

We Love Zombies, featuring a screening of Warm Bodies (PG-13), plus “a creepy craft, and a fine selection of Zombie snacks.” BYOB (Bring your Own Brain).

Tuesday, October 30, 2018 @ 3:30 p

Hill Avenue Branch, 55 South Hill Avenue

Slime Time – “Learn about the different types of slime found in nature then make your own non-toxic ectoplasm to take home just in time for Halloween.” Make the perfect, must-have accessory for your Ghost Busters costume.

And of course there’s our courtyard super pumpkin decorating extravaganza on October 27. The only thing scary about this is the clean up! And we have trick-or-treating, family photos plus a 7p screening of Coraline all on Hallween proper.
